Leukemia Symptoms are yet another one of those diseases that are hard to diagnosis. Leukemia is cancer of the blood and bone cells. Often time it is years before a patient is diagnosis as the symptoms are vague and can be linked to many other illnesses.

Some of the most basic symptoms of Leukemia are, a general feeling of fatigue, body pain, excessive bruising, unknown weight loss, joint pain, abdominal bloating, general feeling of weakness, and lack of energy to exercise. As you can see… none of these symptoms could apply to any one disease. It is often that a patient is diagnosis with Leukemia only after a routine blood test, that will show the lack of normal blood cells. Many people have been surprised by doctors diagnosis, and have gotten second opinions only to have them confirmed.

The feeling of a swollen belly can be linked to the fact that Leukemia causes the spleen and liver to swell giving the feeling of having a full belly. What many people do not know is that there is also a childhood Leukemia where a child develops the disease at a very young age. The survival rate of this disease depend widely on the type of Leukemia and the treatment plan.
