Type 2 Diabetes is called the adult diabetes, and it can be controlled by diet, and in some cases an insulin pill can be taken to bring blood levels under control. Type 2 is found in older people that are over weight and lead a sedatary lifestyle. Tell your doctor if you have a family history of Diabetes so they have that in your medical file. Type 2 diabetes can cause heart failure, so the detection of the disease is impairative.

How do you know if you have Diabetes? The symptoms of diabetes may begin gradually and can be hard to identify at first. They may include fatigue, a sick feeling, and frequent urination, especially at night, excessive thirst. When there is extra glucose in the blood, on way the body try’s to get rid of it is through frequent urination. This loss of fluids causes extreme thirst. Other symptoms may include sudden weight loss, blurred vision, and slow healing of skin, gum and urinary tract infections. Women may notice genital itching.
