A positive way to relax your brain and control its activities is meditation. There are no rigid rules or regulations for meditation. The best posture for you to meditate is to sit with your spine straight, eyes fixed on any object or point and you just have to focus on your breathing. You will feel excellent results if done without any interruptions.

You can do meditation in quiet and airy places. It is advisable to sit in a straight posture either on the ground or on a chair. You can keep your eyes closed or focus on any particular object. Next, inhale air deeply keeping a count of time. Next, exhale in the same fashion. Keep repeating this for two to three minutes initially.

Slowly, you will be able to feel the movement of your breath in and out of your body. Your entire attention would only be on your breathing and your mind will be blank. This is the best effect of meditation as you will be free of all your worries and your brain will be completely refreshed after a session.

It is not possible for you to arrive at the right technique of meditation at the first instance. Slowly, with every session you will find improvements in your pace and will be able to carry it to a higher level. This is an excellent way to relax.
